PHILLIP J. DEWALD
Firm Administrator – Elko, Nevada
Background
Phil DeWald is the Firm Administrator. He is based in Elko but serves
all the Firm’s offices. He joined the Firm in August 2006. Phil is a
1975 graduate of Boise State University where he earned a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. He has been
a CPA since 1975; however, he is no longer actively practicing.
Professional Experience
Phil has more than 16 years of public accounting experience, primarily
with the international public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now
PricewaterhouseCoopers). Additionally, he has almost 20 years experience
in management of both large and small business enterprises.
Other Affiliations
Phil is a past president of the Idaho Society of CPA’s and of the American
Diabetes Association – Idaho Affiliate. Over the years, he has been
actively involved in a number of professional, civic and charitable
organizations and activities including Boy Scouts, The Humane Society, and
youth baseball and basketball programs.

LAURA GRISWOLD
Staff Accountant - Elko, Nevada
Background
Laura began working for McMullen, McPhee & Company in March, 2005, as a
Staff Accountant. She is a 2003 graduate of the University of Nevada Reno
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Minor in
Accounting. She is currently working towards her CPA.
Professional
Experience
Laura began career with the Firm providing income tax preparation
services. More recently, she has been heavily involved in the audit
practice and working on clients in the health, construction, school, and
not-for-profit sectors.

CORALEE DAHL
Staff Accountant - Elko, Nevada
Background
Coralee is a Staff Accountant in the Elko office. She is originally from the area and received her degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1971. She joined McMullen McPhee & Company in August 2005.
Professional Experience
Coralee was a Business teacher for ten years at Wells High School, Wells, Nevada. Her auditing experience includes city and local government units. She is also familiar with QuickBooks and individual income taxes.
Other Affiliations
She is a founding member of the Wells Book Club and also the Treasurer for the Starr Progressive Club. In her spare time, Coralee is an avid quilter.

NICHOLAS WHINNERY
Staff Accountant – Elko, Nevada
Background
Nick is a staff accountant in the Elko office. He graduated from
the University of Nevada Reno in May, 2005, with a Bachelors of Science
degree in Business Finance. Nick began working for McMullen McPhee &
Company in May of 2006. He is currently working towards meeting the
requirements to test for the CPA exam. Nick is an avid outdoors
enthusiast who spends his free time hunting, fishing and camping. He
particularly enjoys spending time hiking with his chocolate lab.
Professional Experience
Nick has been actively involved in audit training and working on his
initial audit assignments in the governmental and not-for-profit sectors.
He is looking forward to gaining some additional tax training and gaining
an introduction to preparing income tax returns.

Client Accounting Services Staff
STEPHANIE SPRING
Client Accounting Services - Elko, Nevada Stephanie began working at McMullen, McPhee & Company in February of 1999. She is a graduate of Great Basin College. She handles the Elko office's accounts receivable and tax processing. Other duties include word processing, data processing, and assisting the Professional Staff. Stephanie also fills in as the Receptionist when needed. Email Stephanie
LINDA COTHRUN
Client Accounting Services - Elko, Nevada
Linda started working at McMullen, McPhee & Company in December of
2002. She is the Receptionist for the Elko office. Her other duties
include the billing for the office and assisting with word processing, tax
processing and processing the Firms accounts payable.

 KIM McCONAGHY
Client Accounting Services – Elko, Nevada
Background
Kim provides monthly and quarterly accounting and payroll services for a wide variety of clients of the Elko office. She also assists in income tax return preparation. Kim joined the Firm in April 2006 with more than 27 years experience in all facets of bookkeeping and office management. She has been active in volunteer activities supporting the school and 4-H activities of her son.

RENAE BUDAK
Renae has worked in the Ely office of
McMullen McPhee & Company (including predecessor entities) since May of
1985. She prepares tax returns and provides monthly accounting services
for numerous clients in a variety of business sectors.

LINDA MILLER
Client Accounting Services - Ely, Nevada
Linda has been at McMullen, McPhee &
Company in the Ely office, since August of 1997. She is the office
Receptionist and also does the Firm's word processing.
